Why theshot?
The shot allows the player to move the petanque ball (s) away from his opponent when his opponent has pointed his ball very close to the jack and the player does not have enough space to win the point by pointing.
The shot can also be used to score points if the shot ball goes into the place of the ball located near the jack or if the shot ball manages to touch the jack and move it .
The rules of the game of pétanque
A game of pétanque takes place over several ends . The end ends when all players have played all their balls. The teams then count their points . The team that reaches 13 points first wins the game.
